My resized pattern says a negative stitch count. What’s going on?
The original pattern’s dimensions may conflict with the selected silhouette. Check the schematic dimensions and, if needed, choose the next size up in the original pattern.
How do I measure my gauge?
Knit a swatch at least 4 inches square. Lay it flat, place a ruler 4 inches wide, and count stitches within that width. Count rows vertically the same way. Enter both numbers into Swatch Lab.
Can GaugeMath adjust a pattern written for a different yarn weight?
Yes, but the best results come from entering the original pattern’s gauge and dimensions. The Standards Hub can suggest typical gauges by yarn weight, but your swatch is the source of truth.
Where are my projects stored?
Everything is stored on your device. There is no account and no cloud storage. Deleting the app removes your projects.
