How do I switch from stitches per inch to stitches per 4 inches?

In Swatch Lab, choose the “4-inch” units setting. Enter the number of stitches and rows you counted across a 4-inch swatch. GaugeMath Pattern Resizer uses the same unit for every calculation in the workbench.

Can I resize a pattern I typed in manually?

Yes. In Pattern Resizer, choose a seed garment silhouette and enter the original gauge, stitch counts, and schematic dimensions. You can also overwrite any calculated number and the app will flag the change with a visual badge.

Why do my yarn estimates change when I change needle size?

Yarn Estimator derives yardage from stitch gauge, area, and pattern repeat. If a needle size changes your gauge, the area may stay the same but the stitch count and yarn coverage adjust, so the estimate updates.

Does the PDF Pattern Sheet include my notes?

Yes. The exported sheet includes the schematic, all recalculated numbers, yarn estimate, and any notes you added in the project. Everything is generated locally on your device.
